Use Labii to manage your references

Overview

References management software is software for scholars and authors to use for recording and utilising bibliographic citations (references) as well as managing project references either as a company or an individual.

With a few configurations, Labii ELN & LIMS can be used to manage your references from PubMed. To do that, the widgets related to reference manage is required.

Configuration

  1. Create a table papers

  2. Add PMID columns and all other related columns as described in PMID widget to the table columns.

  3. Add Abstract section to default section with widget PubMed Abstract.

  4. Add Full Text section to default sections with widget Files (No Preview).

How to use

  1. Follow this documentation to add a new paper, type any string to the title.

  2. Provide correct PMID

  3. Click Submit button to submit.

  4. The page will redirect you to the detail view of the paper, and the abstract will be updated automatically.

  5. Click the "sync" icon next to the PMID. This will download the paper title, journal, authors, etc from PubMed.

  6. Upload full text to Full Text section.

You can add other fields to enhance the reference management. For example:

is_read - to check whether a paper have been read. category - to tracking the category of the paper etc.

You can use import function to batch import all PMID.
