Show and print barcode

Summary

A barcode is an optical, machine-readable, representation of data; the data usually describes something about the object that carries the barcode. Barcode is widely used in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to track the samples and inventories.

The barcode widgets at Labii ELN & LIMS are used to show and print the barcode. Unique ID is the data encoded into each barcode. Currently, Labii uses QR code, a two dimensional barcode, as the default barcode.

The QR code can be scanned with any barcode scanner. Smart phone is also supported with proper apps.
