A calendar is a chart which displays the date and the day of the week, and often the whole of a particular year divided up into months, weeks, and days. The Calendar view in Labii displays the records as events in order for you to keep track of how the research is progressing.
The Calendar searches records that contain dates from the Date, DateTime, and Appointment widgets. If a record has a column that contains one or more of these widgets, and those data fall into the date range of the calendar, then the record will be displayed.
Depending on the table, the records will be displayed in a different color.
The calendar has a few buttons that you can use to navigate:
Today - Jump to today
Previous - Previous month/week/day
Next - Next month/week/day
Calendar also comes with the following views:
Month
Week
Day
Agenda
Different users will see the Calendar differently, and it can be customized. Click Configure button to configure.
Tables - Select one or more tables to display records. Leave it empty to include all records.
View - Set a default view.
The records are clickable and can be opened in a new tab by clicking them.
With Labii's intuitive interface, managing your events has never been easier. Our latest feature allows you to seamlessly integrate your Labii calendar with your personal calendar applications. Here's how it works:
Get ICS URL: To begin, simply navigate to your Labii calendar and click on the "Get ICS URL" button. This action generates a unique URL that contains all your calendar events.
Import into Your Calendar: Once you have the URL, import it into your preferred calendar application. Whether you use Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or any other compatible platform, importing the URL will automatically synchronize your Labii events with your personal calendar.
API Key for Access: Behind the scenes, we've implemented an API Key system named "ICS" to facilitate secure access to your events. This ensures that only authorized applications can read your calendar data. Should you ever wish to disable this link, it's as simple as deleting the API Key.
Two-Month Event Display: To keep things relevant, Labii currently displays events within a two-month range of the current date. This means you'll always have timely access to upcoming events without being overwhelmed by unnecessary clutter.
With Labii's "Display the events in your own calendar" function, you can effortlessly stay organized across all your scheduling platforms, streamlining your workflow and maximizing productivity. Try it out today and experience the convenience firsthand!
