"Record Summary By Date" dashboard widget is a powerful analytics tool offered by Labii that provides a visual representation of record counts over various time periods, displaying the number of records created on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis through interactive line charts, bar charts, and more, allowing users to track trends, identify patterns, and gain valuable insights into their data.

Use case

• A sales team uses the widget to track the number of new customer orders by day, week, or month, allowing them to identify peak sales periods and optimize their marketing strategies accordingly.

• A healthcare provider utilizes the widget to monitor patient registrations by date, enabling them to analyze patient volume trends and adjust staffing levels to meet changing demands.

Configuration

To configure the widget, click the Edit button. You can customize both the data source and the chart type.

• Time unit - Time unit for summary. Choose of Days, Weeks, Months, Years

• Time points - The number of time points that should be displayed.

• Value type - Type of value to display.

Interface

The widget interface displays the charts with the record count represented on the Y-axis and the time represented on the X-axis. Additionally, it includes all chart features as described in the chart. You also have the option to click the Download button to download the source data.
