# PubMed

## Overview

The PubMed widget category provides section tools for bringing publication content from PubMed directly into your Labii ELN or LIMS records. These widgets help teams review paper abstracts, embed citation summaries, and keep supporting literature visible alongside experiments, protocols, reports, and reference records. One widget is optimized for abstract retrieval from a configured PMID field, while the other is designed for lightweight citation lists based on PMIDs entered directly in the section. Together, they make it easier to connect scientific documentation with the literature that supports it.
