How to use Labii ELN & LIMS


Labii ELN & LIMS is flexible and can be customized to meet your specific research needs. Based on the common usage across our users, we put together these applications so that others can get the same table settings easily.

Install application

The installation of an application is the bundle installation of a set of tables, columns, and sections.
To do that: Go to Settings -> Applications -> Click INSTALL button.
Currently, these applications are supported:
  1. 1.
    Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) - Labii can be used as an Electronic Lab Notebook to replace paper laboratory notebooks. It comes with a table for storing experiment notes and a table for managing protocols.
  2. 2.
    ELISA Data Analysis - Many widgets have been developed by Labii to perform ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) analysis. The widgets are capable of performing ELISA standard curves and dose-responsive curves (DRCs).
  3. 3.
    Inventory Manager - You can manage your entire inventory with Labii. With this application, you can track samples, reagents, equipment, vendors, and storage.
  4. 4.
    LIMS for Sample Testing - As the LIMS, Labii can manage the workflow associated with sample testing. It enables you to collect samples, perform sample testing, document the results, conduct quality control, and generate reports.
  5. 5.
    LIMS for Molecular Cloning - Labii can be used as a LIMS to manage the molecular cloning workflow. This application allows the preparation of the vector, insertion, ligation, transformation, and screening of the colony.
  6. 6.
    LIMS for Sequencing - In the sequencing process, Labii LIMS can be used to perform the following activities: 1) extracting DNA/RNA from biospecimens, 2) preparing libraries from the extracts, and 3) sequencing and generating Fastq files.

    LIMS for CRISPR Gene Editing - Labii can be used as a LIMS for managing gene editing workflows.
  8. 8.
    Chemical Registration - Labii can be used to register chemicals and ensure every compound you work with is identified uniquely.
  9. 9.
    Project Manager - As a project manager, Labii can help you stay on top of your tasks. The application keeps track of tasks, jobs, and goals.
  10. 10.
    Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - Labii can be used as a CRM (Customer relationship management) to track orders and customers.
  11. 11.
    Reference Manager - Labii can be used as a reference manager to keep track of your references.
  12. 12.
    Ontology - Labii can be used to manage ontology and OWL tree. The ontology terms can be further used in other tables to control the vocabulary.
